Extensive and detailed pre-application consultation resulted in the finalised layout. The layout has been designed to integrate into the existing landscape whilst following the principles of Designing By Streets. A wide range of properties, some specifically designed for this development are incorporated into the scheme.

A dedicated cycle path has also been incorporated into the overall design together with large centralised areas of active open space providing excellent opportunities for recreation.

The layout also incorporates a Sustainable Urban Drainage system.
